The Pitt Panthers won't have one of their top players, as they face Boston College on the road in Week 14. Panthers star junior running back Desmond Reid didn't make the trip to face the Eagles, according to Stephen Thompson of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Pitt’s regular season ended Saturday in Chestnut Hill, Mass., but really in another state of misery. A series of mishaps, penalties and even more injuries led to the Panthers’ losing streak reaching five in a row in a 34-23 Boston College victory.

Boston College defensive tackle Ty Clemons picked off a pass in the middle of the Pitt backfield and rumbled down the field for a score, bringing a roar not only from the fans but from his sideline, too. Clemons scored on a 55-yard pick-six, Reed Harris made a leaping 28-yard TD grab over a defensive back and BC beat Pittsburgh 34-23 on Saturday.
