Around 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, a person was found outside the WMU Department of Public Safety offices near Monroe Avenue and West Michigan Avenue, suffering from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, university spokeswoman Paula Davis said.

An investigation is underway in Vallejo after a woman was shot and killed late Friday night, police said. Officers responded to the 400 block of Sheldon Avenue, near Webb Street, just before midnight where they found a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
