While the rest of the country has to contend with an arctic blast, California weather is expected to dry out and warm up over the Thanksgiving holiday

Thanksgiving will kick off a stretch of clear and warm weather across Southern California, though winds will also slightly increase.

As drizzle and light rain blankets much of Southern California into Tuesday evening, Angelenos can expect dryer weather and warmer temps on Thanksgiving and into the weekend, the National Weather Service reported.
